The Benchmark Scheme

The Benchmark Scheme aims to improve the standards of installation and commissioning of domestic heating and hot water systems in the UK and to encourage regular servicing to optimise safety, efficiency and performance.

Installers are required to carry out installation, commissioning and servicing work in accordance with the Benchmark Code of Practice which is available from the Heating & Hot water Industry Council at www.centralheating.co.uk
